Yasonna H. Laoly Signs the Inscription for the Construction of the Class I TPI North Jakarta Immigration Office Building

The North Jakarta Class I Immigration Office (TPI) held a topping off ceremony for its new building in Papanggo Village, North Jakarta, on Friday (August 2, 2024). The Minister of Law and Human Rights, Yasonna H. Laoly, was present and signed the new building construction inscription. Also present were the Minister's Expert Staff for Political and Security Affairs, the Secretary General of the Corruption Eradication Commission, and senior officials from the Regional Offices of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
The Head of the Jakarta Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, R. Andika Dwi Prasetya, stated in his report that it has been 21 years since the North Jakarta Class I Immigration Office (TPI) was inaugurated on July 2, 2003. During those 21 years, the North Jakarta Class I Immigration Office (TPI) has not had its own office building to operate. He added that construction work on the North Jakarta Class I Immigration Office (TPI) began on March 4, 2024, with a construction period of 180 calendar days. "Currently, the work has reached 81.7% and the work that needs to be completed is the installation of roof tiles, walls and ground floor work as well as the installation of glass," said the Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Office, R. Andika D.P.
The Mayor of North Jakarta, Ali Maulana Hakim, also expressed his highest appreciation for the topping off ceremony and the construction of the new building in his area, the North Jakarta Class I Immigration Office (TPI). "Hopefully, the North Jakarta Immigration Office will be able to serve and accommodate immigration services for all residents of North Jakarta," concluded Ali Maulana Hakim.
In his remarks, the Minister of Law and Human Rights stated that he had always strived to ensure that the North Jakarta Class I Immigration Office could be established on its own land. On February 16, 2023, the effort to secure the office building for the North Jakarta Class I Immigration Office was realized. "I officially accepted the 2,707 m² office building located at Jalan Agung Karya V, Block A No. 15, Papanggo Village, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). This location is where we are gathered today to attend the topping off ceremony for the North Jakarta Class I Immigration Office," said the Minister.
This moment marks the milestones and milestones in the project's progress toward the next phase of development. The Minister of Law and Human Rights congratulated the North Jakarta Class I TPI Immigration Office for its hard work in enabling today's topping-off ceremony. "I hope that the next phase of development can be completed smoothly, in accordance with commitments, plans, and in accordance with applicable safety standards," concluded Yasonna H. Laoly.
