Responding to public reports, the South Jakarta Immigration Office uncovered illegal medical practices carried out by two Vietnamese nationals.

Jakarta – The South Jakarta Class I Special Non-TPI Immigration Office took enforcement action against two Vietnamese nationals suspected of illegally practicing medicine at a clinic in the Radio Dalam area of ​​South Jakarta. This action followed a public report submitted via the office's official Instagram account, @kanimjaksel.

Acting on the report, the Intelligence and Immigration Enforcement (Inteldakim) team from the South Jakarta Immigration Office immediately conducted an investigation and site inspection. During the operation, the Inteldakim team successfully detained THT, while NNQVT managed to flee while the inspection was underway.

As a supervisory measure, NNQVT’s identity was entered into the Directorate General of Immigration’s Subject of Interest (SOI) system. Some time later, NNQVT was detected while attempting to leave Indonesia via Soekarno-Hatta Airport. Thanks to a notification from the SOI system, Soekarno-Hatta immigration officers immediately detained the individual and coordinated with the South Jakarta Immigration Office’s Inteldakim team for further questioning.

Based on the investigation, both Vietnamese nationals were suspected of engaging in activities inconsistent with the purpose of their residence permits, as stipulated in Article 122 letter a of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration. For this violation, both were subjected to administrative immigration sanctions in the form of deportation and an entry ban.

THT was deported on June 17, 2026, while NNQVT was deported on June 24, 2026, both via Soekarno-Hatta Airport. In addition to deportation, both were issued an entry ban, preventing them from re-entering Indonesian territory in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
