17 February 2026

Marhaban Ya Ramadan! The holy month of blessings is upon us, bringing joy to all Muslims in Indonesia. Ramadan is not only a time of worship, but also brings with it different customs and activity patterns, including for Immigration officers.

In accordance with the Ramadan operating hours established by the government through the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, immigration services throughout Indonesia will operate according to the following schedule: 1. Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM local time (break 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM) 2. Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM local time (break 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM) 3. Saturday - Sunday (weekend passport service units): 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM local time (break 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM)

Acting Director General of Immigration, Yuldi Yusman, assured that his staff will continue to provide optimal public services during Ramadan.

"We ensure that Immigration services continue to operate optimally during Ramadan. These service hour adjustments are made to respect and facilitate the public and employees who are fasting, so that activities and religious observances can be carried out optimally," said Yuldi Yusman.

The public is advised to confirm the schedules of immigration service units such as the Public Service Mall (MPP), Immigration Work Unit (UKK), Passport Service Unit (ULP), and Immigration Lounge with the relevant immigration office, as adjustments may be made in accordance with each office's policies. This information can be accessed on the official social media pages of each immigration office.

"On behalf of the Immigration Department, I wish all our Muslim brothers and sisters in Indonesia a happy fasting month. May Allah make it easy for us to worship and bless all our activities during Ramadan," Yuldi concluded.
